Personal, Sick, and Vacation Leave – Personal leave balances are typically updated in the system with a one month lag.  For example, if you take sick leave in March using a timesheet or sub online, your leave balance in Skyward will not reflect the deduction in your leave balance until about the first week in April.

To check whether a leave day has been deducted from your balance, follow the instructions below:

·        Log into Skyward

·        Click “Home” (in upper left)

·        Click “Employee Access” (right side of screen)

·        Click “Time Off” (top of screen)

·        Click “My Status”

·        From here you will see “Personal Day”, “Sick Leave”, and “Vacation” (if you are an employee who accrues vacation time)

·        Click the small triangle on the left side of the category you wish to find further information about (for example “Sick Leave”).

·        From here you can see recent transactions such as your allocation, sick leave used and the remaining balance.

o   Look for the recent leave you have taken.

·        If you wish to view older transactions, click “More Time Off Transactions”.  This will pull up more detail about your sick leave balance and lets you view transactions back further in time.

Human Resources: (Kurt Harvill, Director of Personnel, Grants and Risk Management)

MCEA PD Grant - The MCEA Professional Development Grant application period is closing soon.  Please submit your letter of application by the end of the day on Monday, March 19, 2018.
