Summer School 2007

Meridian’s Summer School offers both remediation and enrichment.

The remediation program accommodates 75 students in grades 1-8. Students are selected based on academic need, teacher recommendation and parental support.

In 2007,Summer School will run July 5th through August 3rd, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Selected students receive small group and individualized instruction in math and literacy. There is no cost to students, and bus transportation is provided.

An afternoon enrichment program is offered for three weeks in 2007. Classes run from 1:00 PM -3:00PM Monday through Thursday. Students sign up by interest to attend one of different classes, ranging from Art to Bubble0ology to Sign Language.

HIGH SCHOOL :

This summer Meridian School District is sponsoring high school summer school. It is designed to be a credit retrieval opportunity for students who have failed classes during the school year. They may sign up to attend class and work on NovaNet, a computerized, self paced course opportunity. For more information, click on links below:
