Dear IRPS & TMCE Families,

We are in for an  exciting year of building.  Changes happen daily on campus.  Mr. Shaffer's class is creating a construction blog to record the progress - students are our on campus "reporters."  Ten Mile Creek is reading "Wonder" as a school wide read...WWU will be back with the Compass 2 Campus support and everyone is working on the B's ~  Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe and Be Kind!  Kindergarten has grown to 121 students this year!  We have a new Kindergarten teacher ~ Amanda Statham. Welcome!

Dear IRPS & TMCE Families,

In support of the Meridian School District’s vision that “Each student will succeed through quality, inspirational and innovative education,” the school board is pleased to be able to offer a pilot program of Curriculum and Instructional Support (CIS)for all enrolled students. CIS is designed to allow experiences to be selected based on each student’s individual educational needs.

This program is currently offered for spring  of the 2011-2012 school year as a provisional program. The Request Form is attached here, can be found under Important Links, and is coming home with your students on March 5.

Each student at Irene Reither Primary School and Ten Mile Creek elementary school is provided $75 to apply toward some form of curriculum and instructional support. Students may apply their $75 toward fees, (MYAA, Meridian Youth Soccer, Group Tutoring lessons, art, dance, music lessons, youth sports, swim lessons etc.) or other activities to prepare the student to be a productive, contributing member of society. *The form attached is all you need to submit your request.

Some opportunities for tutoring, art, music, etc. may be offered on campus by MSD staff…we will keep you informed as opportunities arise.
