Greetings Students, Parents, and Community Members,
Welcome to the 2014-2015 school year! Summer school is over, construction is finished and we are preparing for an outstanding school year. We are going to continue our strong emphasis on extensive planning, working together and striving for individual successes. We want ALL of our students to have a strong start that continues to build for a successful school year.

Washington Teens Secure a 2nd Place Finish at YMCA National Judicial Competition!



Congratulations to Ellie Ryan and Anna Ratzlaff for their hard work and excellent skills as part of the Washington delegation to secure a second place finish at the YMCA National Judicial Competition held in Chicago this summer!

Ellie and Anna have both been strong members of Meridian's own outstanding Mock Trial team. You make us proud!

Whatcom Academies at MHS - Enroll Now for 2014-15!

Northwest Career & Technical Academy

We are taking 2014-15 applications for 10th - 12th graders! Don't delay! Access the application here. Connect with our counselors, Mrs. Kratzig or Mr. McMains to start the process: (360) 398-8111.

We host three satellite programs with the Northwest Career & Technical AcademyConstruction Careers AcademyEngineering Academy and Welding Academy. These are outstanding opportunities to get real, practical training in these three fields. Junior and senior students from Whatcom and Skagit counties are eligible to attend every day from 8:00-10:30 next school year and pick up 3 high school credits and numerous college credits - and it's FREE! These three programs meet on our campus in our new Career & Technical Education building.
