Goal: Responsible Bus Behavior
1 The building principal will clarify the exact time span in which students are to leave the classroom for the day.
2 Teachers will not take students to the bus holding area before the dismissal time.
3. Students and staff will walk on sidewalks and in crosswalks.
4 Teachers must walk their students to the bus area. Once the classroom students are in the appropriate bus area, and
proper supervision has arrived, the teacher may return to their classroom.
4 Students must stay in their designated bus line.
5 Buses will begin loading by 3:30 PM.
6 Designated bus duty personnel must remain at bus loading area until all buses have left.
7 Students are expected to maintain appropriate classroom and playground behaviors while waiting for the bus.
8 Students will board and ride the bus in a quiet and safe manner.
9 Students will go immediately to their seats and remain in their seat until they deboard at their bus stop.
