Hello, my name is Elizabeth Sanchez. I teach the K-3 English Language Learner program. .
I have the privilege to work with children who are just acquiring the English language. Many of the students are new immigrants from various countries: China, India, Mexico, Russia and Vietnam to name a few. The children speak various languages, Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Punjabi.
My main focus is English Language Development. I teach English through different methods using the multiple intelligences. The focus is on kinesthetic, auditory and visual.
16% of the IRPS population are English Language Learners. I work with the children in their classroom or in small group settings. I am fortunate to service such a diverse community and
thankful for the great teaching experience.
