EXPLORE

A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR 
3-6 YEAR OLDS TO HAVE FUN!

Explore meets on Fridays from 9:15-10:15 AM

This class is a great opportunity for you and your child to explore the environment and be introduced to school in a protective, gradual way. We will have fun exploring music, art, movement, imaginative play, games, and much more. This class is open to all Meridian District families with children between the ages of 3 and 6 (kindergarten students welcome!). Parent supervision is requested for any children under the age of three. Parents are welcome to join their child(ren) in all activities, but also have the option to bring coffee/beverages and reading material to the multi-purpose room for parent chats.

    • This great, new opportunity is FREE and there is no need to sign up – just come and join us! Parents are welcome to stay and explore or socialize with other parents.


    Each week we will also provide information for parents regarding specific child development topics, such as the importance of play, movement with your body and nutrition.

    Our primary objectives for Explore are
    1) social interaction
    2) offer a variety of sensory exploration opportunities
     3) learn to follow a simple routine within the school setting    .
