Line

Goal: To maintain safe and quiet hallways.

1 Students will walk quietly in the halls at all times. They will stay on the right side unless impossible to pass on that side.

2  Classes will walk in lines and move quietly through the building.  Teachers will escort classes as they move through the halls.  Teachers will remain in the hall  until students are out for recess.

3. Students will use their assigned doors when entering the building.
Rooms 3,4,5,6,7 and 8 will enter through the south foyer.
Rooms 9,10,11,12,17,18 and 19 will enter through the main entrance.
Rooms 13,14,15,16 and 20 will enter through the the north foyer.

4 Students will have a hall pass when in the hallways.

Goal: To improve hallway behavior, third grade student hall monitors and staff will monitor heavily trafficked areas within our building.

1 Each third grade classroom will be responsible for monitoring a station.

Station 2—Hallway outside rooms 15-16 (Room 15)
Station 3—Hallway outside rooms 1-2 (Room 14)
Station 4—Hallway outside rooms 3-4 (Room 7)
Station 5—Hallway outside rooms 5-8 (Room 8)

2 Hall monitors will verbally reinforce the expectations for hallway behavior listed above.
