NON RESIDENT TRANSFER STUDENTS

1.Non-resident students are guest students in the Meridian School District. The non-resident status is conditional and me be revoked at any tome if the continued attendance of the student(s) interferes with the safe and orderly environment of the school, or if the students continues attendance creates an additional financial burden to the Meridian School District. Additionally, poor attendance, disruptive behavior/discipline issues, or any violation of the Irene Reither Primary School Student Responsibility Plan may also result in the revocation of the non-resident student status and the student(s) will have to return to their resident district. All non-resident students must request for release and apply for non-resident admission each year prior to the beginning of the school year in order to attend. Students who have not applied for, or who have not been granted non-resident status will not be allowed to attend school until afore mentioned conditions have been met.
