PTA Officers 2007-2008

The PTA will be electing officers and voting on the 2008-09 budget at our next general meeting on May 13th at 6:30 in the MMS library. There is still a need for a co-vice president. If interested please contact Sara Sullivan at 398-2004.

Admission is FREE

 We will be accepting non-perishable food for our local food bank.

Rock 'N' Read

Our school's read a thon was a success. Our goal was to raise money for new books and we succeeded. IRPS was able to raise $6,066.99. TMCE raised $1,782.00 and MMS raised $1,715.00. That is a school wide total of $9,564.00. A big thank you to the 82nd AIRBORNE Division in Salerno, Afghanistan. This unit sent $660.00 to support our read a thon. Also, thank you to the following businesses for donating all of the raffle prizes: Semper Fi, Soccer City, Hats Off, Wal-Mart, Waldenbooks, Yeager's, Office Max, Sportsworld, Fred Meyer, Lynden Skateway, Extra Innings, Park Bowl, Mt. Baker Lanes, Sportsplex, Whatcom Educational, Wilder Construction, Cold Stone Creamery, ProStock, 20th Century Lanes and Haggens. Our librarians are very excited and have already started filling out order forms for new books. Be sure to look for them as they begin to arrive.
