  • Seniors!
    • Night of Excellence: If you received an invitation to the Senior Night of Excellence, please come Tuesday, May 29th at 6:30pm in the auditorium.  This night honors seniors who have received school awards and scholarships.
    • Graduation:  Graduation is June 12 at 6:30pm in the gym.  No tickets are needed!  A mandatory graduation practice is at 9:00am in the gym.  All graduating seniors need to attend in order to walk that evening.  Please see/contact Mrs. Heslep if you have questions
    • Graduation attire: If you were unable to pick up your items and have paid in full you can pick them up from Mrs. Heslep in the office. If you have not yet paid for your items, Jostens will send them to you when they have been paid for.
    • High School and Beyond Plan: Some of you have not completed your High School and Beyond Plan, which is a required element for graduation.   Please check the lists outside the counseling offices.  If your name is not on them, please see your counselor so you can finish.
  • Dress code:  With warmer weather here, please make sure that all attire adheres to the MHS dress code.  Please go to for a link to the student handbook.  Students in violation of the dress code will be asked to change.
  • International Culinary Tour: Summer's almost here, and you probably already have some plans...but what about plans for Spring Break 2019? How about Rome? How about Barcelona? Students from Meridian, Lynden & Ferndale high schools are invited on a Culinary Tour of Spain & Italy! See the Palacio Real in Madrid, travel by night ferry from Barcelona to Italy, explore the Colosseum and ancient ruins of Rome, toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain. Get all the details next Thursday. Come to an info meeting (bring a parent with you!) in Ms Scott's room from 6:30 - 7:30, Thursday May 31.  See you there.  Ciao!
  • We need subs! Meridian School District is currently experiencing a shortage of substitutes in a variety of areas. If you are interested in working with students and/or supporting your local school district, Meridian School District is looking for substitute help. Working in the schools as a substitute offers flexible hours and can lead to permanent employment. Currently we are searching for paraeducators, student monitors, certificated substitutes, custodians, bus drivers and food service workers. If you are interested in working for Meridian School District as a substitute or know someone who is, please contact Patty Streubel at and/or stop by the district office and pick up a substitute packet. Forms are also on our website at
