Mid-winter Break & President's Day

 

 

 

  • MHS Drama presents "The Great Gatsby" Feb. 16 - 17 and Feb. 23-24 at 7pm in the MHS auditorium.  Tickets are $6 for seniors and students with ASB card, and $8 for adults.
     
  • Seniors!  The Meridian Public School Foundation application is now open!  Go to http://www.meridianpublicschoolfoundation.org/application/ to complete the application.  Please pay attention to the directions.  We encourage early submission. Final due date is April 13, 2018.  Questions?  Please see Mrs. Waterman.
     
  • Music Booster Club Mattress Sale:  MHS Music Boosters are hosting their annual Mattress sale March 3rd from 10am to 5pm in the south gym.  If you need a brand new mattress, come by the 'showroom'.  Prices are discounted because there is no overhead.
     
  • MHS Music Boosters Garage Sale: We are hosting the first garage sale March 17th - 9am to 3pm in the MHS Commons.  Proceeds go towards the students' trip to Disneyland!
     
  • We need subs! Meridian School District is currently experiencing a shortage of substitutes in a variety of areas. If you are interested in working with students and/or supporting your local school district, Meridian School District is looking for substitute help. Working in the schools as a substitute offers flexible hours and can lead to permanent employment. Currently we are searching for paraeducators, student monitors, certificated substitutes, custodians, bus drivers and food service workers. If you are interested in working for Meridian School District as a substitute or know someone who is, please contact Patty Streubel at pstreubel@meridian.wednet.edu and/or stop by the district office and pick up a substitute packet. Forms are also on our website at www.meridian.wednet.edu/employment.
     
  • After school policy is that you must be with a teacher, coach or in the library working on homework. There is no hanging out in the commons, lounges or elsewhere on campus, nor going to the store and then catching the bus home. Questions?  See Mr. Jacoby.

  • Baseball: Wednesday February 21st at 2:40 pm in the upstairs lounge.
  • Cheer:  open stunt night Tuesday February 20th from 5:30-7! Open to both girls and boys. Sign up in the office!

  • Seniors:  One half of your senior presentation slides was due to your adviser on the 12th.  You need to meet with your adviser.  It is up to you to contact them and make an appointment.

  • Seniors: If you did not turn in your order form for your cap, gown, etc. you will have to order online within the next month.  Go to the Josten's website to place your order.

    Running Start students are allowed on the MHS campus when they have a MHS class.  If you have questions about this policy, please see Mr. Jacoby or Mr. Forbes. Please make sure you sign in and out in the office.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Did you know you can email teachers to get homework assignments if your student is absent? Teacher email address are listed on the MHS website.  You can also contact the Attendance office (398-8111).  

In order to receive that day's homework, the request must be made before 10:00am, and you can pick up the homework after 2:30pm. Be sure to call first to make sure it's there.
 

Skyward Grading - don't forget to check your students' grades on Skyward.  You can go directly to Skyward Family Access and enter your login and password.  If you have forgotten your information, please contact the office.

Class of 2018 Booster Club

There are a few spaces left for the grad night party. We are planning an awesome party for you!   This is your last night with your classmates. Reserve your spot now!  Contact Heather Magnusson at (360) 421-3295

Class of 2019 Booster Club

We are now accepting full or partial payments for our Grad Night (the night of graduation).  Cost is $150 per student.  Please contact Leslie Pagnossin at l.pagnossin@comcast.net for the mailing address or to arrange payment.

The Craft Show is coming! Our event will take place April 14th 9-4, we will have over 50 vendors and crafters plus some great food vendors! This is Hosted by the Class of 2020 Booster Club. If anyone would like  info about being a vendor then they can email me at vogelamanda85@gmail.com
