We are about to look at the lives, legends, and impact of the early explorers to the Americas. These early explorers
were bold men who risked a great deal in their efforts to reach the new world. But, what was the real story? Were these men magnificent leaders, ruthless captains, cruel despots, or just men with a mission to be
accomplished at any cost?
Your group of reporters will go back in time to try to reach some balance on these issues. Research,
investigate and discuss your finding and then prepare a presentation for our Explorer's Forum showing a "balanced view" on the explorer.
