It has been a privilege to serve as a teacher and now an administrator in the Meridian School District. I began my educational career in 2004 as a Kindergarten teacher then taught 3rd grade at IRPS. After pursuing a passion for education leadership, I made the transition to MP3 as a Student Learning Plan Certified Teacher which lead to my current role as a principal. It has been an amazing opportunity to get to partner with staff, students and families dedicated to teaching and learning!

My educational background includes earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Studies and Sociology as well as a Master’s in Education at Eastern Washington University and my Master’s in Educational Administration from Western Washington University.

I grew up on a wheat farm in eastern Washington. I have always been drawn to a small rural town which makes living near Laurel feel like my home away from home. I live in the Meridian School District, where my children attend school.  My husband is a CPA and enjoys helping coach youth sports. I love being involved in our community and serve as a Meridian Youth Athletic Association board member. My two boys stay busy with school activities as well as sports. Meridian is a place we are proud to raise our family!
