GEOMETRY

Meridian High School utilizes the College Preparatory Mathematics Program. They offer a great resourse in homwork called HOTMATH that will turor students that have difficulties with their homework.

Students can expect a managable amount of homework nearly every evening (four or five problems).

HOW WILL I BE GRADED?

Daily Points: 3 points per day
Homework: 3 points per day
Homework quizes: 30 points
Chapter team test: 30 points
Chapter individual test: 60 points

The Rule: Respect others and their property. You must show respect if you want to receive it.

Tardy Policy: All forms of wasting Mr. Shick's time will result in a tardy. These include forgetting to get a note from being absent, having to go to your locker to get an assignment or book. Students are expect to be in their seat working on the warmup when the bell rings.

1st tardy	Warning
2nd tardy	Warning
3rd tardy	Note home to parent
4th tardy	Saturday school

Hall Passes: If you need to go to the bathroom, locker, or office you must write yourself a note. If it is during individual work time Mr. Shick may sign your note and let you leave. If you do not come to Mr. Shick with a note he will say no.

Do not ever ask for a note to be signed while Mr. Shick is conducting class.

If trouble comes back to Mr. Shick form him letting you leave class you will never be allowed to use this privilege again.
