Good Morning....Today is
Thursday, June 12th.......
The cafeteria will be serving
a little bit of this..and a
little bit of that...you know..the
stuff from the back of the cooler for lunch today...
You don't want to miss The
Trojan Youth All County Football Camp so be sure to pick up your flyers before
the end of the school year. Camp registration ends July 1st. The camp is being
held July 16-19th at MMS for
students going into the 4th-8th grades in the Fall. The camp will
be ran by Phil Smith and several Meridian Alumni as
well as current Bellingham Bulldog Semi-Pro Coaches and Players. The Head
Coaches of Squalicum High School and

community notice or information that you wish to share you are invited to post
it on out Community Bulletin Board...contact the office for more details.
Parents, as the weather
starts to get warmer the clothes become more summer like...if you are not sure
that the clothes that you child is selecting to wear to school meet middle
school dress expectations please refer to page 12 of the student
handbook...Students will be asked to call home for a change of clothes if
needed. Thank you for your
support...Here is a handy guide for you to follow.....
No undergarments are to be
seen.
No bare midriffs. All tops and bottoms must meet without leaving
the midriff exposed
Skirts, shorts, etc. need to
be as long as your out-stretched arms-hands-fingers
Tops need to have a minimum
of 3-inch strap on the shoulder
Hats, caps, and other head
coverings, including bandanas or scarves, must be removed upon entering our
campus at the beginning of the day and put away until the end of the school day
Shoes must be worn at all
times
Sagging pants are
inappropriate attire. Pants must be
secured at the waist.
Clothing that displays
inappropriate words, pictures or messages (Big Johnson, smoking or alcohol ads,
other types of inappropriate attire) is not acceptable, nor is clothing that
promotes gangs, gang-related or drug-related activity or behavior.
No chains may be worn
Box Tops...the final
collection will take place on Friday....We might even make our goal..please bring in box tops
this final week to help us reach our goal...
A reminder to all students
and parents...for the safety and welfare of all of our students, students are
not allowed to stay after school without prearranged and pre-approved
supervision.....
