My name is Mr. Clonts and I teach 8th grade Math and Science Core at Meridian Middle School. I feel science and math are wonderful topics that allow students to exercise their natural curiosity and develop ways of questioning and exploring the environment in which they live. I strive to share both my curiosity and excitement about science and math with my students.
The core concept has been adopted by MMS as a way of integrating various topics to help students find connections and relevance in the studies they pursue at school. Math and science
core classes provide a great foundation for students to eplore abstract mathematical concepts in a very concrete way. As you visit my site, be sure to visit our school site and take a close look at the integrated projects student complete while in their 8th grade year at MMS.
