At Meridian Middle School, our philosophy provides for an integrated projected oriented aproach to studies at the 8th grade level. Students will work individually and in groups to
develop an understanding of the world in which they live. The 8th grade science curriculum is integrated with the JASON PROJECT, an intenet based interactive study of science.Students will be required to research
many topics and write essays and reports as well as construct models to explain their level of understanding. These topics could be teacher directed or student selected. Click on the links below to explore the
