Greetings Meridian Students and Families,
A week ago we closed the ThoughtExchange survey where we asked, “What questions do you have about our fall opening and the state guidelines?” We appreciate the many questions provided by our families. We responded to the top 150. Many of the questions beyond the 150 are duplicates and are answered in the responses provided. In places, there are statements rather than questions. We had to make a determination about whether a response would be helpful or if it was better to let the sentiment rest on its own. We respect all of the viewpoints and thank you for sharing them.
Responses were developed collaboratively: district and building administration, district directors, legal counsel, board policies, state health agencies, and the governor’s proclamations. We have also developed a Frequently Asked Questions page on our website. You will see some responses that will link to that page for further information. We will continue the practice of adding to this FAQ page every couple of weeks to help keep everyone informed.

Excitement is building for the start of the new school year. Many of our teachers and staff are back in the district for the year ahead. We are extremely thankful we are able to start school with our students back full time!
