Skyward completed system updates over the summer, which means the web addresses for Skyward Family Access and Online Registration have changed. Skyward is the program used for attendance, grades, district forms, schedules, and more.<\/p>\n

We have updated these links on our website, but please take a moment to update any bookmarks you may have saved.<\/p>\n

Complete Annual Forms in Skyward<\/b><\/h3>\n

Before the first day of school on <\/span>Monday, Aug. 31, families should log in to Skyward Family Access and complete the required annual forms for each student.<\/span><\/p>\n

These forms are required each year and give families the opportunity to review and update important information, including emergency contacts, phone numbers, and other student records.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to Complete the Forms<\/b><\/h3>\n

  1. Log in to <\/span>Skyward Family Access<\/b>.<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Select “2026-27 Required Annual Student Verification Information Update” from the left navigation menu.<\/li>\n
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page to view your student(s).<\/li>\n
  4. Review each student’s information and complete all required forms.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you need help accessing your Skyward account, use the <\/span>“Forgot Password\/Login” link on the login page. For additional assistance, contact your school office or <\/span>Student Information Coordinator Janine Randall at <\/span>360-318-2184.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Looking Ahead<\/h3>\n

    The 2026-27 printed calendar and annual notices will be arriving in mailboxes soon. This calendar includes important dates, district information, and required annual notices for families.<\/p>\n

    Next week, families will receive our August Meridian Monthly Back-to-School Guide by email. This guide will provide everything you need to help your student start the school year successfully.<\/p>\n

    Save the Date:<\/strong> Meridian is hosting its first Back-to-School Fair on Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 1\u20135 p.m. at Irene Reither Elementary School. All Meridian students and families are invited to attend this free community event.\u00a0The fair will feature fun activities for children, resources to help families prepare for the new school year, and opportunities to connect with school staff and community organizations. More than 20 community partners will be on hand, including the YMCA, North Whatcom Fire and Rescue, Whatcom Literacy Council, MYS Soccer, and Laurel Design, along with Meridian departments such as Food Services, Athletics and Transportation.<\/p>\n

    Summer Hours and Information<\/b><\/p>\n

    School offices will be open through June 17 and then closed for the summer. All school offices reopen on Thursday, Aug. 20.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    The District Office will be open to the public 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday beginning the week of June 15. The District Office returns to normal hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, on Monday, Aug. 24.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    2026-27 School Year<\/b>
    \n<\/b>The first day of school for the 2026-27 school year is Monday, Aug. 31. Our 2026-27 school year calendar is available on our <\/span>    calendars webpage.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

    Meridian Family Support Center Summer Hours<\/b>
    \n<\/b>Starting June 17, the Meridian Family Support Center (Portable 400A at Irene Reither Elementary) will be open Wednesdays from 2-5 p.m. The food pantry, clothing closet and other resources will be available. The center will be closed on July 15.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Summer Snack Program<\/b>
    \n<\/b>The Summer Snack Program runs weekdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at Meridian High School until July 24, and closed July 3. <\/span>The program is open to all children 18 and under in the community. The daily snack is available in the main office. If you have questions, please contact Food and Nutrition Coordinator Erin Groen at <\/span>egroen@meridian.wednet.edu<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

    Save the date: Back-to-School Fair Aug. 19<\/b>
    \n<\/b>Meridian is hosting a Back-to-School Fair on Wednesday, Aug. 19 from 1-5 p.m. at Irene Reither Elementary School. This event is free and open to all Meridian families and students and will include food, fun activities and helpful community partners sharing resources to get ready for the school year. Families who qualify for free and reduced meals, can pick up school supplies and sign up for Operation School Bell. We will share more information later this summer.<\/span><\/p>\n
