MMS families,
We have to again extend our pride and thanks to all students and staff for an exceptional reunification drill on Monday. Everything went incredibly smoothly and students demonstrated appropriate seriousness and calm throughout. Being the first school ever to complete this drill in Meridian School District was a honor, but allowed us to set a high bar for excellence for MHS/MP3 and IRE to meet when they eventually complete their own reunification practice. We are incredibly proud and thankful for our MMS community!
Our annual Center for Educational Effectiveness Survey closes next Friday, March 6. If you haven’t completed it yet, please do so before time runs out. More information and a link below!
As always, please reach out if you have any questions.
Go Trojans!

FAMILY GUIDES

As we move into Quarter 3, these updated guides give you a look ahead at the key standards and learning targets your child will be working on right now. Our hope is that this helps you ask more specific questions, celebrate progress along the way, and feel more connected to what’s happening in the classroom.

We know that when families and schools work together, students thrive. The Family Guides are one way we’re continuing to strengthen that partnership and make learning more transparent for everyone.

Outdoor Ed Candy Bar Sales

Attention 6th grade families:
All money for candy bars was due today. If your child still has money to turn in for candy bar sales please bring it to the office by Monday.
If you are planning to pay the $100 for Outdoor Ed. that is due to the office by March 27th. We can accept cash or check made out to MMS.
If you need to know what you still owe after selling candy bars please email Ms. Drake to find out your balance of what you owe for camp.  bdrake@meridian.wednet.edu

We want to hear from you!

We are always working to strengthen our schools and ensure every student thrives. Your input helps guide that work! Please share your thoughts on school communication, learning expectations, and your experiences with our teachers and administrators. Please take a few minutes to complete our annual survey by March 6.
