MMS families,
As we wrap up another school year at Meridian Middle School, we want to take a moment to celebrate the growth, accomplishments, and memories our students have created together.
This year, students demonstrated meaningful academic growth, with many increasing their achievement on assessments and continuing to build the skills they need for future success. Just as importantly, students showed growth in perseverance, responsibility, collaboration, and confidence throughout the year.
We celebrated nearly 100 Students of the Quarter, recognized thousands of positive behaviors through Mindset Awards, and honored students through Shine & Thrive nominations and attendance recognitions. These celebrations reflect the caring, courageous, trustworthy, and open-minded qualities we strive to develop in all students.
Our students also experienced learning beyond the classroom. From Outdoor Education and college visits to athletics, performing arts, clubs, leadership opportunities, and the Washington, D.C. trip, students had opportunities to explore interests, build relationships, and create lasting memories.
None of this would be possible without the partnership of our families. Thank you for your support, encouragement, and trust throughout the year. Together, we have helped our students continue on their path toward a “Bold Future” where they get to live the life they want.
As we finish these final days of school, we encourage students to enjoy the moments still ahead, celebrate their accomplishments, and reflect on how much they have grown since the first day of school.
To our 8th graders and their families, we wish you well at Meridian High School. To our 6th and 7th graders and their families, we look forward to seeing you back here in August.
We wish everyone a safe, restful, and enjoyable summer.
Go Trojans!
