To start the school year, we are making a few updates to how visitors check in at our schools. These changes are part of our regular efforts to keep our schools safe and welcoming for everyone. There is no specific reason for the updates. We are always looking for ways to strengthen our systems to ensure our schools remain secure and supportive places for students, staff and families.

Here’s what you can expect when visiting our buildings during school hours:

  1. Please press the intercom button at the main entrance when you arrive.
  2. You will be asked to stand where you can be seen by our entry camera.
  3. A staff member will greet you and may ask why you are visiting.
  4. The staff member will unlock the door for you to enter. You will proceed directly to the school office.
  5. For everyone’s safety, please do not allow visitors to enter behind you. All visitors must check in with the front office.

All families are welcome at our schools. If you speak a language other than English, we have services available to help us communicate with you.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we make this transition. These steps may take a few extra moments, but they are important for the safety of everyone in our school.

If you have any questions about these changes, please contact your school principal. Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping our schools safe and secure.
