A Message from Superintendent Dr. James Everett
As of this evening, the facilities bond is failing at 48.7 percent of the needed 60 percent supermajority. While the outcome is not what we had hoped for, we remain committed to addressing the needs of our students and improving our facilities.
I want to express my gratitude to everyone who dedicated their time to the bond effort. From the members of the Facilities Task Force who began this work almost two years ago, to the staff and volunteers who helped inform our community about the bond. Your dedication to our students and community has been truly inspiring.
At this point in time, we have no intention of running a bond again this year. We will take time to reflect, seek additional feedback from our community, and explore paths forward.
