Summer Hours and Information
School offices will be open through June 17 and then closed for the summer. All school offices reopen on Thursday, Aug. 20.
The District Office will be open to the public 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday beginning the week of June 15. The District Office returns to normal hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, on Monday, Aug. 24.
2026-27 School Year
The first day of school for the 2026-27 school year is Monday, Aug. 31. Our 2026-27 school year calendar is available on our calendars webpage.
Meridian Family Support Center Summer Hours
Starting June 17, the Meridian Family Support Center (Portable 400A at Irene Reither Elementary) will be open Wednesdays from 2-5 p.m. The food pantry, clothing closet and other resources will be available. The center will be closed on July 15.
Summer Snack Program
The Summer Snack Program runs weekdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at Meridian High School until July 24, and closed July 3. The program is open to all children 18 and under in the community. The daily snack is available in the main office. If you have questions, please contact Food and Nutrition Coordinator Erin Groen at egroen@meridian.wednet.edu.
Save the date: Back-to-School Fair Aug. 19
Meridian is hosting a Back-to-School Fair on Wednesday, Aug. 19 from 1-5 p.m. at Irene Reither Elementary School. This event is free and open to all Meridian families and students and will include food, fun activities and helpful community partners sharing resources to get ready for the school year. Families who qualify for free and reduced meals, can pick up school supplies and sign up for Operation School Bell. We will share more information later this summer.
