Principal’s Message

IRE Families,
As we begin our last full week of school, it is hard to believe that only 8 school days remain in the 2025-26 school year!
While many exciting end-of-year activities are ahead, please know that learning continues right up until the very last day. Our teachers have planned meaningful lessons, engaging projects, and important opportunities for students to continue growing. We are committed to making every second count and teaching right up to the final bell of the school year.
We are also excited to celebrate and wish our 5th-grade students all the best as they prepare for their transition to middle school. Over the past several weeks, students have participated in transition meetings, visited Meridian Middle School, and learned more about what to expect as they take the next step in their Meridian journey. Last week, we had the opportunity to celebrate this milestone together with a fun Glow Dance, creating memories and excitement for the adventure ahead.
Let’s finish the year strong together. We can’t wait to celebrate all that our students have accomplished and send our 5th graders off with confidence as they begin the next chapter.
See many of you at Field Day this Friday!
Best,
Tyler Dockins, Principal
Nate Beede, Assistant Principal
Rebecca Kratzig, Dean of Instruction

Volunteer with Field Day

It is time for our end of the year celebration – Field Day! This is an opportunity for students to celebrate their learning and connect with their friends before the summer break.
To put on this big event, we need lots of volunteers!
For TK Field Day, volunteers are needed June 4th, from 1PM-3PM. You can sign up here.
For Kindergarten through 5th Grade, volunteers are needed on June 5th throughout the day. You can sign up for a shift (or three!) here.
All volunteers need to have their WATCH forms for this school year filled out and turned in to the IRE office no later than June 1st.
The form can be found here: https://www.meridian.wednet.edu/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/W… or you may get one from the main office.
